Celebrate your little loves with these fun Valentine's Day reads! This list is perfect for littles, from toddlers, preschool, Kindergarten and beyond. It's a collection of sweet stories, books about feelings and friendships that the whole family will enjoy.

L is for Love: This is a fun alphabet primer with vivid and cute illustrations. I like to see if the kids can point anything out in the pages that start with the corresponding letter.

Love From the Crayons: My kids love these crayons so much. The books are short with simple stories, but they are adorable!

Construction Site: You're Just Right: Here is another series we don't miss! I paired this book with a heart construction site sensory bin. It basically gives us hours of fun.

Little Blue Truck's Valentine: This is another one that is perfect to pair with book-based play. The special valentine delivery storyline is so sweet.

In My Heart: This is a great season to review feelings, and this book does a great job of explaining those big feelings in a way that littles really understand.

You're My Little Cuddle Bug: I think we have every book in this series. My daughter loves it because I call her my little cuddle bug. The illustrations and cutouts are engaging and the easy is story is sweet and easy for toddlers.

Tiny T. Rex and the Perfect Valentine: This is the perfect gift for your dinosaur lovers. The story has a great lesson about the thought, not the gift.

Love from the Very Hungry Caterpillar: As expected, the illustrations are beautiful! It's a quick read but I usually have the kids count how many creatures are on the pages.

Huggy Kissy Abrazos y Bezitos: A perfect and easy bilingual addition to the list. Even non speakers can get into this because it is in English and Spanish.

Hug Machine: We are big huggers in this family, so the kids are always happy to see it on the shelf. This year, we are going to read the book and make hugs we can mail to our family.

Grumpy Monkey Valentine Gross-Out: I have a Grumpy Monkey, so we love this series. The kids think it's hilarious and we can discuss big feelings around love.

Little Spot of Valentine's Day: Another great feelings book for Valentine's Day. The spots really help my kids to understand and process feelings.

Love is Series: I think we own all of these books. We have Love is a Tutu, Love is a Truck and Love is a Ball. These are perfect for a love basket!

Baby Shark Happy Valentine's Day: This one is a kids pick; what kid can resist that shark!

Baby Touch and Feel I Love You: You might think my three- and five-year-old would have outgrown this book but it's perfect for an emergent reader. They can easily guess and learn the words. My little one loves to "read" books all on her own and these are perfect.
