Mr. Moon is a big deal in our house so I thought space and rockets would be a perfect theme for our new year. Because of preschool we are having a Noon Year’s Day party with our kiddos.
We are doing hourly bags with activities starting at 8 am and counting up to noon. We will be painting rockets, making noise makers, having a dance party and making space snacks.
I will also be surprising Little Man with some decorations in the kids room and making a few goodies ahead of time. One of my favorite DIY’s are our rocket party poppers that I made with toilet paper rolls.
Supplies:
- Toilet paper rolls
- Cardstock
- Double sided tape
- Tape
- Scissors
- Balloons
Here is a free template so you can make your own rocket party poppers!

Enjoy and Happy New Year!
